Basifying agent for chrome tanning.
BASIFICANTE LT is a modern basifying agent very versatile.
Thanks to its composition, it can be added undissolved to the bath at medium temperature, after the addition and the complete penetration of the chrome salts.
We advise to add around 20% of BASIFICANTE LT calculated on the weight of powder chrome salts having 26% of Cr2O3.
The tanning is completed after 6 – 7 hours from the adding of BASIFICANTE LT.
The leather obtained with BASIFICANTE LT is very full and with a fine grain.
