Cationic softening / feel-modifier agent.
COROIL T3 is a cationic softening/feel-modifier agent which confers a very soft feel to the skins. It is specially formulated for footwear articles.
It’s advisable to dilute COROIL T3 with water in rate 1:5 or 1:10 before adding it to the bath.
The percentages of employment are:
- in chrome tanning as softener/moisturizer: 0.3 – 1.5% on fleshed weight;
- in retanning as softener: 1 – 2% on shaved weight before the addition of the chrome or the tannins;
- after anionic fatliquoring: 1 – 4% on shaved weight, in a new bath or after having acidified with 0.3 – 0.5% of formic acid.
