Dyeing auxiliary and dispersing agent based on naphthalene-sulphonic acid.
SOLETAN HBLS is an auxiliary agent for dyeing, having high efficacy for all kind of leathers. Its use allows to reduce the affinity of anionic dyes to the chrome-leathers, resulting in a faster penetration and a better colour evenness.
The recommended amount of use is 1-3% on shaved weight.
SOLETAN HBLS can be added together with the anionic dyes.
On vegetable tanned leathers, where the natural affinity is much lower than with chrome-leathers, only small amounts of SOLETAN HBLS are needed to improve the penetration and the evenness.
SOLETAN HBLS can also be used for water-proofing and water-repelling leathers, because it doesn’t modify the hydrophobicity.
